Aberdeen Angus beef @ the Chalet

What say you on the issue below?

Chalet Swiss restaurant at Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur is offering exquisite Aberdeen Black Angus beef sliced at your table side, for the whole month of September.

This much sought-after meat is from 120-day grain-fed cattle from Scotland, the most popular beef breed of hornless cattle.

The breed was developed from cattle native to the counties of Aberdeenshire and Angus in Scotland and known as Aberdeen Angus in most parts of the world.

Black Angus is the highest quality beef indicated by its smooth, close-grained texture, carnation red colour and finely marbled fat within lean muscle.

Chalet's chef de cuisine Hafizzul Hashim has come up with a menu that best presents this meat.

Bite into juicy pieces of tenderloin, striploin, cote de boeuf or braised shortcut ribs a la bourguignonne, cooked to your liking either grilled or roasted.

It is best served with classic Idaho baked potato or mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and served with your favourite sauce.

The Aberdeen Black Angus beef is priced from RM118 ++ per portion onwards and available only for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Call 03-2161 7777 ext 8333 for reservations.
