KLANG Port Klang Authority (LPK) donated 20 wheelchairs to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital recently.
Datuk Dr Teh Kim Poo hands over wheelchairs to Medical Social Work Department head Ku Abdul Halip Ku Yaakobon. With them is Senator Datin Paduka Nor Hayati Onn.
LPK chairman Datuk Dr Teh Kim Poo said the wheelchairs cost about RM250 each.
Hospital Visitors' Board Members chairman Senator Datin Paduka Nor Hayati Onn thanked LPK for contributing the wheelchairs as it would ease the burden on the hospital's poor patients with mobility problems brought on by illness or accidents.
She said the hospital still welcomed more wheelchairs and any form of aid.
