Keeping a watch out for illegal racers

KUANTAN: Police will go undercover to monitor strategic locations around Kuantan town Pahang to eradicate illegal racing, especially during the school holidays.

Pahang traffic administrative enforcement officer Asst Supt Zainalabidin Othman said traffic offenders would also be screened.

ASP Zainalabidin commented on this after a four-hour traffic operation at the Jalan Bukit Rangin-Jalan Kuantan stretch here recently.

During the traffic blitz, police issued 83 summonses to motorists for various offences.
