What say you on the issue below?

A gotong-royong organised by the Yayasan Bina Upaya Darul Ridzuan (YBU) and Malaysian Association of Youth Clubs (MAYC) in the Parit Parliamentary constituency drew close to 50 volunteers who helped out at the Perak Tengah Community-based Rehabilitation Centre.

The centre provides a course-based rehabilitation for the disabled.

For the disabled: Lau Yee Wee, 21, is one of the many patients at the rehabilitation centre.

Belanja assemblyman Datuk Mohd Zaim Abu Hassan said in his speech that it was vital to assist the disabled and ensure their rights were protected.

He also said more social programmes were needed to encourage and motivate the disabled.

A cheque of RM1,000 was later handed over by YBU to facilitate the needs of the centre.
