BANG & Olufsen, a leading brand of high-distinctive audio and video products, recently celebrated the launch of its flagship showroom at The Gardens, Mid Valley City with a posh cocktail reception.

The new 1,400sq ft showroom will provide the ultimate Bang & Olufsen experience, complete with the trendsetting BeoLiving room that debuts the BeoVision 4 - 85” 3D TV giant.

The emcee for the evening was Bernie Chan. It was also attended by Danish Ambassador Svend Waever and his wife, Karin Gunilla Waever.

Bang & Olufsen Expansions managing director Jakob Odgaard, MJ Group director and group partners Jonas Wulff Moller and Michael Ostergaard and Bang & Olufsen Malaysia general manager Danny Cheong took to the stage to launch the showroom with a click of a button, allowing guests to witness the premium sound and visual quality that was showcased as the lights dimmed.

Violinist extraordinaire Joanne Yeoh then completed the evening with an exhilarating performance that was projected through Bang & Olufsen’s spectacular audio system, which left guests in awe and astonishment.

“We see an upward trend and growing demand for extraordinary products in Malaysia, and our products have always challenged the ordinary,” said Moller.

He continued, “For Bang & Olufsen, the user is the centre of experience. With the new showroom, we are delighted to bring our customers in Malaysia the genuine Bang & Olufsen experience”.

It was truly a remarkable evening of sublime sound and design as guests received state-of-the-art audio and video demonstrations and an exceptional home-cinema experience.

One lucky guest took home a unit of the BeoSound 8, the new powerful speaker dock for iPhone, iPod and iPad as a lucky-draw give away from Bang & Olufsen.

The flagship showroom is located at S239A, The Gardens, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
