CREATING homes that make their mark while limiting their environmental carbon footprint is the goal at Victoria Harbour’s Convesso Concavo in Melbourne, Australia.

The homes are equipped with water-efficient appliances and fittings and a large rainwater tank for landscape irrigation and swimming pool top-ups.

The project is created by award-winning architects, Bates Smart, complements Melbourne’s indulgent waterfront address.

Lend Lease general manager national sales-apartments Ben Christie said the Convesso Concavo was an example of privileged living on the water’s edge of Victoria Harbour.

He said the development embraced a north-facing position on the podium level of Victoria Harbour and was a part of Melbourne’s Docklands urban regeneration site.

Victoria Harbour also boasts the highest concentration of green buildings in Australia.

“Immense light, reflections and water views stream in through expansive windows, connecting you with the water features outside.

“The degree of spaciousness resonates that of a house, rather than an apartment, and this is what we offer to our potential owners,” said Christie.

He said the project offered a choice of single-storey two- or three-bedroom apartments, or three-bedroom double-storey homes. Each residence has a living area, two bathrooms, balconies and terraces.

“Our residential units have kitchens that feature De Dietrich appliances,” he said.

Exclusive marketing agent for South-East Asia Jalin Realty International chief executive officer Ian T K Chen said the tower apartments offered a choice of two or three bedrooms.

“Each apartment has a view of Dock Square and Bolte Bridge. Terraces and balconies offer opportunity to live and breathe the Victoria Harbour,” he said.

Chen said his firm’s main markets were Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.

“We recently launched the project in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang. We will also introduce it in Brunei,” he said.

Convesso Concavo also has thermal performance and acoustic features.

“Environmental benefits include operational energy efficiency, reduced reliance on air-conditioning and good air quality,” added Chen.
