THE Mulitimedia University (MMU)-Swashbucklers Fencing Duel, at the Multi Purpose Hall in MMU, Cyberjaya on Nov 27 and 28, has attracted an impressive foreign cast.
Fencers from Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand have confirmed participation in the two-day championships organised by the Swashbucklers Fencing Club and supported by Milo, Revive Isotonic, Yakin, CNI and Exclusive Mark.
Deputy organising chairman Janice Kok said they were awaiting confirmation from India.

“India had indicated their interest but we have not received their final confirmation.
“We hope they will come and make the championships more exciting,’’ said Janice.
The events in the championships — men’s Epee, women’s Epee and three age groups — Under-14, Under-11 and Under-9 — for both boys and girls.
The championships’ objective is to provide a platform for fencers, relatively new to the sport, to take part in a competition amongst their peers.
