FOR the second time in a year, Veet returns for another mission to help young women achieve confidence.

Through an educational college programme, themed ‘My Real Secret’, young women between the ages of 17 and 22 had the opportunity to participate in a complete experiential grooming session recently.

Prior to this, Veet travelled to six colleges in the Klang Valley to talk to students about the importance of grooming. Due to overwhelming response, Veet extended its reach by travelling to six more universities across the Klang Valley.

“Veet has always been passionate about delivering the best personal care solution for young women. The college programme is a positive step in reaching out to young women, and educating them on the importance of personal care and management while enhancing their self-confidence,” said Reckitt Benkiser Malaysia assistant brand manager for Veet Cathrina Chang.

The ‘My Real Secret’ programme aimed to inspire young women to feel desirable, beautiful and exhibit the confidence to flaunt their smooth legs.

The company conducted grooming talks and consultation session. During the session, young women received tips about hair removal rituals, learnt about the importance of beauty and received a first-hand account of depilatory solutions.

“Young women who have high self-esteem can achieve anything and be ready to face any challenges. Skin and appearance play a key role in building confidence, which is why we had assimilated these elements into our college programme.

“Our main initiative is to inspire young women to face new challenges with optimism and most importantly, own the confidence to attain gorgeous silky smooth skin,” added Chang.

Students also joined in the ‘Veet Razor Exchange Programme’, whereby the first 50 students who exchanged their razors won themselves each a Veet Hair Removal Cream 25g for free.

SEGi University College student Low Chin Xin said, “This time, the Veet college programme was exciting and stimulating. I got the opportunity to receive free grooming talks on hair-removal and received a free photo of me and my best friend.”
