A DANGLING streetlight in Jalan PBS 14/1, Taman Perindustrian Bukit Serdang is an accident waiting to happen.
Taman Bukit Serdang resident Visma Jyothi Demado said the streetlight was going to fall at anytime.
“It might fall on passing motorcyclists or pedestrians,” he said.
Visma also complained that most of the streetlights in the area were faulty for close to two years, and those located at the stretch of road that links to the Bukit Jalil Highway and Taman Perindustrian Bukit Serdang went out of service two months ago.
He said motorists suffered from poor visibility at night.
He added that he had highlighted the matter to the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) several times — the latest being on Wednesday — and so far nothing had been done to rectify the problem.
MPSJ councillor Chong Hoon Ming said he was aware of the problem and would look into the matter soon.
