JOHOR BARU: If you drive along Danga Bay here at night, you might find yourself entering “daytime”.
Part of the road, the stretch in front of Dataran Bandaraya Johor Baru, is lit up beautifully as part of an effort to turn JB into the City of Light.
NST photographer, Fauzan Jaafar, who visited the city recently was surprised to see a canopy of light as he passed by with his family.
“Everyone was slowing down, some even parked their cars by the seaside, to enjoy the beautiful set up,” said Fauzan who wasted no time clicking away with his camera.
“It is like a canopy, only more colourful,” said Fauzan.
During daytime, as one walks along the seaside at Danga Bay, he would pass by colourful artificial palm trees.
