Entrepreneurs get on highway to sell

JOHOR BARU: CLOTHING boutique XO recently hosted Night Fest 2014 at the Eastern Dispersal Link’s (EDL) Pandan rest and service area.
Over 50 entrepreneurs of various products, including Malaysian clothing brands, from all over the country, especially Johor, were gathered at the event.
The event was geared towards assisting young entrepreneurs to promote their products.
It is hoped that the experience will help those just starting out to become more confident and vocal with their opinions and ideas in their respective areas of business.
Early birds were treated to free ice cream. Visitors enjoyed music performances, food and beverage for sale, and calisthenics and skyrunner jumping stilts demonstrations and tryouts, over two days.
Night Fest 2014 also aimed to provide a platform for online sellers and retailers to meet their customers as well as to network with their brick-and-mortar counterparts.
The event was held in collaboration with MRCB Lingkaran Selatan Sdn Bhd, the concessionaire of the EDL, a free expressway stretching from the Pandan interchange at the southern end of the North-South Expressway to the Sultan Iskandar Building.
