JOHOR BARU: WITH Christmas and New Year celebrations approaching, head over to Mutiara Johor Baru to spend time with family and friends during the festive season.
The hotel is offering a vast selection of mouthwatering dishes to satisfy every palate.
The hotel’s team will prepare an extravagant spread combining traditional fare for its Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve buffet dinner at the Seri Mutiara Restaurant.
Priced at RM95++ per adult and RM60++ per child aged between 4 and 12, the buffet offers a wide range of dishes from cold to hot selections, alongside a salad bar, carving station, pasta and desserts.
Indulge in festive treats starting with the appetisers to the main courses such as seafood on ice, roasted venison, chicken kebab, grilled tenderloin and much more. There are also plenty of sweet and savoury desserts such as Christmas pudding, fruitcake, log cake and cream caramel.
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, guests can drop by Seri Mutiara Restaurant for a high tea buffet which is priced at RM70++per adult and RM47++ per child, and dinner buffet at RM80++per adult and RM50++ per child.
At Capri The Continental Restaurant, take the whole family and close friends on a Western dining voyage and celebrate the eves of Christmas and New Year with a five-course set dinner at RM100++ per person.
The menu on Christmas Eve comprises appetisers such as orange glazed chicken and baby octopus salad, carrot bouillabaisse soup with seafood dumpling, strawberry sherbet, choice of main course of grilled beef tenderloin, roasted turkey or grilled salmon; and pistachio ice cream.
On New Year’s eve, there is mushroom ravioli with unagi kabayaki in tomato curry coulees, seafood chowder, mango sherbet and opera cake for dessert. Guests can choose one main course including roasted lamb, king prawns or pan-seared tuna.
Over at the Mutiara Terrace & Deli Corner, guests can choose a variety of sweet delicacies to bring to their festive dinner or party and wow their families and friends.
The band Equinox will entertain guests during the Countdown Party on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Priced at RM65++ per person, the package is inclusive of one standard drink and a party pack while party-goers will also receive a complimentary glass of eggnog from 1.30am till 2am. Guests can take part in exciting games and win prizes.
For a touch of Oriental delight, guests can savour tantalising cuisines throughout the festive season at the Meisan Szechuan Restaurant priced from RM628++ per table.
