SUNGAI PETANI:IT was a double joy for Mohd Rezibuan Hamzah and Hasmiza Abdullah when their newborn was chosen to receive a complimentary insurance policy from Zurich Insurance Malaysia Bhd.
Their baby, Nur Nasuha, who was born on Malaysia Day, recently received a Zurich EduStart insurance policy, an investment-linked plan that combines protection, savings and investment elements.
Under the insurance, Nur Nasuha will be covered until she reaches the age of 25 with a total sum assured of RM108,000.
The initiative was part of Zurich’’s new campaign, ‘For Those Who Truly Love.
Rezibuan said he and his wife were so happy to be chosen to receive the insurance for their daughter.
“Many thanks to Zurich and I hope by having this insurance, it would safeguard and secure a brighter future for my daughter,”” he said.
Zurich Insurance Malaysia chief marketing officer Christine Cheu said the insurance was a way of showing the gift of love and commitment to the community in which we live and work.
““We want to convey the message that insurance is for all and that everybody needs protection.
“We hope this small gesture will provide financial assistance to the couple,”” she said after presenting the insurance recently.
Zurich EduStart is the company’’s latest children proposition which was designed to not only protect children and parents from unforeseen circumstances but to also assist parents in building and securing a solid education fund for their children.
