Seafood delights at Palong

IPOH: LOOKING for a restaurant to celebrate Christmas? Head on to Palong coffeehouse which is offering a brunch-cum-high tea and dinner.
Guests can go for Christmas Eve dinner or high tea and dinner on Christmas day. The buffet line will feature 130 dishes, including appetisers, mains and desserts.
To start off, guests can try 
appetisers such as blanched seafood yabbies, Hokkaido scallops, oysters, mussels served on ice, assorted sushis, Shoyu salmon, Maguro sashimi and smoked salmon gravid lax.
The main dishes include roasted duck breast, braised lamb shank, beef Chorizo mustard sauce, pan-roasted baramundi filled with dill sauce, baked prawns, asparagus Hollandaise and brussel sprouts.
Desserts include yuletide log, fruit cake, chocolate fountain with strawberry skewer and cheese board with condiments.
Guests will also get to savour grilled items such as lobster Thermidor and seared Hokkaido scallops at the grill station. Not to be missed is the carving station which serves roasted whole lamb and chicken sharwarma with tortillas.
The Christmas Eve dinner is priced at RM108 nett per person, while the high tea is RM38nett and the dinner is RM48nett.
Senior citizens and children get a 50 per cent discount. Those who sign up before Dec 20 will get an early bird promotion of RM88nett.
