THE Red Devils were brought back down from the high of their unbeaten run with a 6-1 home defeat to archrivals Manchester City last week.

The handful of Manchester City fans who attended the Tiger FC viewing party at SOULed Out in Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, went on a frenzy as The Blues netted goal after goal, much to the dismay of the larger number of United fans.

For the first time in Tiger FC history, the viewing experience for fans was enhanced as a replica of the three statues located at the Old Trafford stadium was created at the outdoor seating area of the food outlet.

United jerseys hanging from hooks on the wall were also put up to recreate the Old Trafford changing room area for the viewing party hosted by emcees Adam C and Natalie.

“This season, Tiger FC is delivering the most exciting football viewing parties, promotions, contests and perks to football lovers in Malaysia. With more than 500 viewing parties planned across the nation, fans can expect club-themed viewing atmospheres, games, activities and prizes, which are guaranteed to deliver a completely new consumer experience,” said Tiger marketing manager Sean Koh.

“Watching the match here is truly an amazing experience. I really did not expect to see the Old Trafford entrance arch and a replica of The United Trinity here at SOULed Out in Hartamas,” said Vincent Wong, a regular at Tiger FC viewing parties.

The party continued on after the match ended and those present either celebrated or drowned their sorrow with bottles of Tiger beer.

Besides the food and beer, there were also quizzes held throughout the night and a lucky draw saw Tiger FC fans Lim Kok Sheng and Lim Wei Kiat walking away with a 40” Sony LCD TV and a Tiger FC Prepaid Card preloaded with RM1,000 respectively.
