BEAUTY PARADE

Catch the top ten finalists of the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2011 strut their stuff on stage at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands today as they parade and shine under the spotlight at 8pm.

EVENTS

TIME OUT

Spend your weekend with your family at the D’muda Midtown Esplanade Kuantan where visitors can relax and dine at several stalls that offer various special local dishes. It starts from 5pm to 3am on Friday and Saturday, and 5pm to 1am on Sunday.

CRAFT PROMOTION

Shoppers at the East Coast Mall shopping complex in Kuantan can visit the handicraft promotion that is being held until Oct 31 from 10am to 10pm. Admission is free.

NIGHT MARKET

The night market in Kuantan today is at Jalan Gambut and Perkampungan Sungai Isap and at the Taman Gelora parking lot on Sunday from 4pm to 10pm. Residents will be spoilt for choice of clothing, accessories, food and drinks.

CHARITY BAZAAR

The Kiwanis Club of Kuantan is holding its Charity Bazaar 2011 on Sunday from 8.30am to 1pm. Members of public are invited to take part in this event and are advised to bring their own shopping bags as no plastic bags will be provided. FISHING FUN

Anglers looking for a spot of fun this weekend can head over to the Balok Recreation Beach in Kuantan for a fishing competition on Sunday from 8.30am to 1pm. The fee is RM100 per rod. The first prize winner will receive a cash prize of RM20,000 and 400 t-shirts will be given out to the early birds. CARNIVAL TIME

Auditions for Raja Lawak 6 are taking place over the weekend from 10am at the Berjaya Megamall shopping complex in Kuantan.

Bring your friends and family to be entertained over the weekend at Taman Tasik Bandar, Indera Mahkota in Kuantan as the Kuantan International Powerboat Race will be taking place with participants from Sabah, Selangor, Sarawak, Penang, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore and Japan.
