WINTER has “invaded” The Mines, sending its freezing chill to form a skating rink at the mall’s centre court for a fun skating experience.
The rink, an iceless one dubbed The Smart Ice Arena, was created to stimulate the glide properties of wet ice.
It is located at The Mines Level 3, and is open to children aged between eight and 14 from 11am to 9pm daily from now till Dec 26.
Slowly but surely: Children aged between eight and 14 will get a chance to skate at The Smart Ice Arena at The Mines this Christmas. Shoppers who spend RM80 and above in a single receipt (or RM50 and above for Public Bank Card members) can redeem an entrance ticket to the rink, which entitles one child to skates rental and a maximum of one hour in the rink.
Adding to the festivity is Santa’s Gift for Everyone, a promotion to reward shoppers who spend RM150 and above in a single receipt (or RM100 for Public Bank Card members) with gifts such as X’mas message holder, thermo mug and festive tin gift box.
From now till Dec 25, take photos with Santa Claus every Friday to Sunday at 6pm and receive a gift worth RM20 for purchase of RM50 and above in a single receipt (or RM40 and above for Public Bank Card members).
The gifts for both promotions are limited to the first 30 shoppers per day.
Besides, the magical folks will also be spreading festive cheer at the mall every Wednesday and weekend at 4pm.
Free Christmas giftwrapping service, limited to five gifts per shopper per day, is available till Dec 26 at the Information Counter located at Level 3.
Shoppers also stand a chance to win Hong Kong Disneyland tour, projector, notebook and plasma TV in the 1 Malaysia Year End Sale Great Rewards when they spend RM100 and above in a single receipt (or RM80 and above for PB Card members) from now till Jan 1.
A Kids Christmas Dress-up Contest will be held on Dec 10 at 3pm while Joy to the World — Christmas caroling, singing performance and freebies giveaway — will be presented on Dec 18 at 7.30pm at Level 5, Splash Park.
