Who would have guessed that a simple shopping trip to your favourite beauty store could yield a car? Apparently, neither did Koh Chee Lin who was almost at a loss for words after she won the grand prize in conjunction with Sa Sa's Prettily Pink 32nd Anniversary Beauty Dip.
Koh Chee Lin bags the grand prize during Sa Sa's Prettily Pink 32nd Anniversary Beauty Dip Koh, was among five big winners who were selected from scores of other customers who had shopped at Sa Sa during their 32nd anniversary celebration, to attend and be in the running for a last chance win of the main prizes.
In the winning mix that day were pink-hued main prizes like the Sony TX-1 digital camera, Apple iPhone 3GS, Sony Vaio laptop, Honda Icon 110cc scooter and Hyundai i10 1.1AT car.
Prior to the culmination of this event Sa Sa had launched a month-long storewide campaign to mark the brand's 32 years as a leading provider of beauty essentials.
Through an extensive media campaign, which also included interactive promotions like the Sa Sa Beauty Quiz in CloveTwo, shoppers were informed and invited to participate in Sa Sa's Prettily Pink Anniversary Beauty Dip.
Shoppers who purchased a minimum of RM132 storewide were eligible to enter the Beauty Dip, where over 69 attractive prizes worth over RM100,000 were up for grabs and for five luckier winners, a chance to take home any of the five main prizes at the end of the celebration.
Besides offering prizes to sweeten the celebration, Sa Sa also ran special promotions around the theme of 32% discounts and RM32 off selected purchases. Needless to say, it made shopping at Sa Sa even more exciting.
Sa Sa's anniversary celebration came to a close with the climatic ‘last dip' event, which was held at the Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya recently.
"Sa Sa has come along way and grown dramatically in Malaysia," said Corina Loi, Senior Vice-President and Country Head of Sa Sa Malaysia, at the start of the Prettily Pink Anniversary Beauty Dip.
"The response to our 32nd Anniversary celebration has been overwhelming as we received over 30,000 entries in our beauty dip contest, and have a total of 69 winners," Loi added and wishing the final five all the best before their turn in the final lucky dip contest.
Koh, along with Ang See Ching, Mohamad Faiz bin Zainuddin, Teong Ting Ting and Yap Siow Li were then invited to partake in an exciting game of ‘mini luck.'

Each participant randomly selected keys, which would open one out of five locked lockers. The matching key would open a locker containing one from the five main prizes.
It was a tense nail-biting event as participants tried their luck with the key in their possession.
In the end, the random game of chance yielded their respective prizes; for Ang the Apple iPhone, Mohamad Faiz the Honda Icon, Teong the Sony Vaio laptop and Yap the Sony TX-1 digital camera.
All the participants were thrilled to have been apart of the lucky dip as they were all winners from the very start.
"This is the first time I have ever won such a big prize," Koh said happily as she claimed her brand new car. "I just hoped for the best. I didn't expect that when I shopped for my make-up and cleanser at Sa Sa I would end up winning something so special."
