WITH Christmas just around the corner, Best Western Premier Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur has organised a unique event to usher in the festival.
With collaboration from World Vision Group Malaysia, it has organised the World RC Grand Prix and the Charity Christmas Tree event.
This event was attended by some celebrities in Malaysia. To start with, there was a World Remote Control GP activity where former F1 driver Alex Yoong and former Miss World Malaysia 2007 Debra Priya Henry took the challenge.
The event was flagged-off by Residence Hotels & Resorts managing director Rohanna Ramli.
Guests at the launch were also allowed to write their own Christmas message and hang it on the tree. There are three colours and each can be bought for RM20 onwards.
The money collected from the selling of the Christmas cards will be donated to the poor children through World Vision Group. Henry is the Rights Advocate for World Vision Group Malaysia.
Later, all the guests witnessed the Charity Christmas Tree launch.
Among the celebrities present were Jaclyn Victor, Datuk David Arumugam, Edmond Prior and the award-winning Operafest Children’s Choir.
