Saying thanks to the media

THE media fraternity in Perak had a blast during the kampung-themed Press Nite hosted by Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

It did not matter if they had left the State Secretariat building banquet hall empty handed or with lucky draw prizes in tow, they all had happy faces after a night of great fun mingling with each other.

Their stomachs were equally contented with good food from the sumptuous buffet spread consisting of fried kuey teow, roast lamb, grilled chicken, murtabak, satay and ice kacang.

Several press members also showed their “hidden” talent as they took to the stage to sing and dance.

In his speech, Dr Zambry expressed his gratitude to all media groups for their coverage of him and on state matters.

The Press Nite, he said, was to show his appreciation of their hard work.
