Vehicle involved in an accident yesterday.
KULAI - Two reportedly suffered minor injuries after an accident involving six vehicles involved in Kilometer 36.5, Sedenak from the south, at about 12:46 noon, and night.
Accidents involving two multipurpose vehicle (MPV) Toyota, a Proton Exora and three Nissan Sunny, Proton Waja and Proton Preve, which also caused a traffic jam for about five kilometers.
Kulai district police chief Supt Abdul Razak Md Said said initial investigations showed that the accident happened when a Toyota SUV type do hard braking.
"This has caused a more MPV Toyota trailing from behind a failed dodge and hit the back of MPV.
"Four other vehicles from behind has failed to control the vehicle and hit the vehicle in front," he said in a statement.
Razak said the two victims suffered minor injuries, while a Nissan Sunny badly damaged when a Toyota SUV type vehicles were elevated to the top.
Meanwhile, operations officer Fire and Rescue Kulai, Mohd Khairil Mohd Adzami said they received an emergency call at 12:46 pm and arrived at the scene at about 1:12 pm with seven members.
"On arrival at the scene we found there was an accident involving at least five vehicles. No victims were reported killed and those injured were taken to hospital by the public as well as their relatives.
"We also use the ground sprinkled on the road surface to absorb the oil spill at the scene," he said.
