KULAI JAYA: THE Young Aviators Programme, to be held at the Senai International Airport next year, is expected to attract some 1,000 applications.
Programme director Azhar Selamat said it was aimed at exposing the younger generation to the aviation industry.
“Registration will start on Dec 1 and 120 applicants will be chosen at random to follow the course,” he said, adding that the lessons would start in January.
“The modules include aviation, learning about the different models of aircraft, preflight aircraft inspection and aircraft maintenance schedule.”
Registration is at Lot AO 15/16, Level 1, Cargo Airline Office at the Senai International Airport.
The registration fee is RM30 and the annual fee is RM60.
