20 children get early gifts

ALOR STAR: As part of the upcoming Christmas festivities, Aman Central recently brought cheer to underprivileged children from two shelter homes.
Some 20 children aged between 6 and 13, from the Precious One Welfare Society and Qian Qian Welfare Association, had fun during the event.
Belleview Group senior executive (marketing and leasing) Jimmy Ooi Hong Hee said the annual charity event was part of Aman Central’’s corporate social responsibility in giving back to the community and the less fortunate.
Jimmy said the company wanted to reach out to the children because Christmas was the season of giving and sharing.
““It is a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas with these underprivileged children. We want them to be happy during the festive season.
““We will continue to organise this event in order to maintain a closer relationship with society,”” he said.
There was also a line-up of attractive events during the programme such as painting a coin box, palm painting, magic performance, telematch and a birthday celebration.
The children were all smiles as they received presents from Santa Claus.
One of the tenants of Aman Central, Pinang Medical Supplies Bhd, also donated a wheelchair to Precious One Welfare Society.
