KUALA LUMPUR: An air stewardess plunged to her death from the fourth floor of a condominium block in Bandar Bukit Jalil here.
In the Monday incident, Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin said the fully clothed 29-year-old woman was found sprawled face down on the ground at about 6.30pm.
"There were signs of critical injury on her head and body. She was wearing a black shirt and black skirt when her body was found.
"Initial investigations revealed that she had fallen through a window on the fourth floor," he explained.
ACP Chong said that no one witnessed the incident, which might have happened while it was raining heavily.
"Her housemate did not realise what had happened, as she was sleeping at the time of the incident.
"She said the victim was crying alone in her room on Monday morning, but she had no idea what had caused it," he added.
ACP Chong said the victim's room was in a mess and her purse was left on her bed.
"We also found a notebook on her bed, containing what seemed to be a suicide note.
"No foul play was involved in her death," he explained.
The deceased was sent to Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for a post-mortem.
The case has been classified as Sudden Death (SDR).
