A NEW sports bar and bistro opened recently at Jaya One where one can kick back with a drink in hand and watch the ESPN channel showing on the television screens or play a game or two of pool or darts with friends.
“We offer people a dynamic setting to watch sports in addition to offering a wide range of drinks at reasonable prices,” Ritz Sports Bar and Bistro owner Martin Lee said.
The bar is located above Station One Cafe that is also owned by Lee and has been open for business since February.
“After managing the cafe for about half a year, I decided it was time for a new challenge so the idea of opening a bar upstairs occurred to me,” Lee said.
He added that the bar offered a wide range of drinks including beer, hard liquor, cocktails and even wine to its customers at one of the lowest prices in Jaya One.
Quite spacious: The Ritz Sports Bar and Bistro can accommodate up to 90 people. One of its signature drinks is the Flaming Lamborghini that costs RM40 plus 10% service charge that is a drink that should be savoured by both the eyes and the mouth.
The bar and bistro’s can easily accommodate 60 to 90 people in one seating.
“We have sliding doors which can be used to close half of the room to provide some privacy for functions and such upon request,” Lee said.
There is also a pool and foosball table as well as a darts board.
“We will eventually subscribe to other sports channels in the future and maybe even be the gathering place for the Selangor football club supporters,” Lee said, adding that patrons can order food from the cafe downstairs and have it brought up to the bar and bistro.
The sports bar and bistro is open daily from 7pm to 3am except on Sundays and public holidays.
