JOHOR BARU: Muhamad Farkhan Mohd Haron had national pride by winning the belt of the World Boxing Council (WBC) light heavyweight category Asia for the International Boxing Tournament Johor (JIBC), Saturday night.

Johor-born killed Sheikh scattered from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the fourth round.

Muhamad Farkhan, 26 wins via TKO after beating Sheikh blow in two minutes and 36 seconds.

Speaking to reporters after the tournament, Mohammed Farkhan dedicating his victory to the people of Malaysia, especially Johor people for their support.

"It makes me as a boxer in the first to win both titles under two different categories," he said after his victory belt submitted by Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

Earlier, Mohammed Farkhan victory WBC Asian debut in Singapore in July.

JIBC also brings together five fights involving 10 boxers from around the world for the title.
