Batu Pahat: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) to start the year 2017 and offers a greater opportunity for the public to becoming a millionaire after announcing a new campaign of 12 million Ringgit, 12 billionaires, 12 months.

According to the Deputy Chief Executive of BSN, Frederick Siew, the year 2016 witnessed the best performance of the company when the projected savings BSN SSP saw an increase unexpectedly after achieving a total of RM350 million, more than the target.

"People are starting to realize the benefits of banking products that offer rewards in addition to encouraging people to save and indirectly obtain profits through their savings rates.

"This is evident when we managed to get RM350 million for 2016 and expects the number to increase to RM500 million in the coming year," he said.

Frederick said, savers who have SSP for a total amount of deposits or minimum balance of RM3,000 and above, are eligible to participate and be listed in the Special Draw next year.

"Depositors who have SSP in a single certificate with a minimum amount of RM3,000 and above are eligible for" Double Chance "in Special Draw.

"This means the number or unit SSP existing customers, have a higher chance of winning the Special Draw," he said.

In addition to Special Draw and Monthly Draw, BSN has also introduced Draw teen, for teens aged 12 to 17 years were divided into two categories: Category Special and Ordinary categories.

Also took home a cash prize of RM10,000 for the Special category was Nur Azmi Shamin of Putrajaya.

Under the campaign, BSN also announced last millionaire of the year at Vernon Vincent Sta Maria of Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, the monthly draw was won by Fatimah Musa from Terengganu who will drive home a Mercedes GLC.

While for adolescents draws special category was won by Fabian Lee Tang Hsiem of Melaka which carries a cash prize of RM10,000.

The event was also attended by singer, Ronnie Hussein who brought several songs including torn Time.
