Me, myself and Chelsea

What say you on the issue below?

TRAVELLING with the Chelsea team on its pre-season tour would be a dream come true for diehard Chelsea fans.

They now stand a chance to win this golden opportunity just by purchasing RM150 worth of Adidas Chelsea Football Club (CFC) merchandises and specific CFC merchandises at selected al-Ikhsan outlets.

Other exclusive experiences include Chelsea Weekender — watch the team play live at Stamford Bridge in London, Meet Petr, Meet Frank, and a chance to attend 2012 Chelsea Player of the Year Awards.

This “All Mine” campaign was announced at the launch of the Adidas Chelsea FC Blues Corners at al-Ikhsan in Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya recently.

A collaboration between Adidas and al-Ikhsan, the corners are exclusively available at participating al-Ikhsan stores to bring the Blues merchandising experience closer to the fans.

Chelsea products such as official jerseys and other football apparel are up for grabs while supporters would be rewarded with regular opportunities to take part in in-store contests and win giveaways.

Adidas Malaysia brand manager Bryan Gee said Malaysia has proved to be an extremely important market for CFC as the club has seen its popularity and business thrive year-on year.

“The CFC stores help cater to the increase in the club’s fan base, and to show them that CFC understands their passion and love for the club,” he said.

Chelsea fans can try their luck at 15 al-Ikhsan outlets across the nation, including the Alamanda and Bukit Bintang Plaza branches, between September and May next year.

The specific CFC merchandises during each contest period include CFC away jersey, CFC third jersey, CFC training wear and CFC culture wear, and all prizes are inclusive of an all-expenses paid trip to London.

Al-Ikhsan senior retail operation mananger Yureni Mohd Nor said there are currently 89 al-Ikhsan outlets in Malaysia and two more are opening by the end of this month.
