Replacing traffic lights with a flyover will ease the jams

What say you on the issue below?

I would like to suggest that Kuala Lumpur City Hall replace the traffic light junction at Wisma Tun Sambanthan (from the direction of Petaling Jaya heading towards Petaling Street) with a flyover to reduce the traffic jam in Jalan Maharajalela.

This junction is the cause of a huge traffic jam every morning, with a backflow stretching all the way to Taman Taynton View in Cheras which is eight miles away.

If this traffic light junction is replaced by a flyover, one can drive from Kajang to Kepong without stopping, thus ensuring a smooth traffic flow.

As Jalan Maharajalela, Jalan Loke Yew and Jalan Cheras are main arterial roads for traffic from the south part of the city, these roads are heavily congested particularly during peak hours in the morning and evening.

It is wasteful and stressful to be stuck in traffic for 45 minutes every day to travel eight miles.
