KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 Fourteen people, including a woman, were detained by the police when they tested positive for drugs in an operation, codenamed "Ops Hiburan", at an entertainment outlet on Jalan Kuchai here early Sunday.
Narcotics Crime Investigation Department deputy chief DSP Baharudin Mat Taib said police also found some amount of ketamine on the floor.
He said a total of 146 patrons, including 58 women, were checked by the police in the raid which focused on hot spot areas.
Those who tested positive for drugs and were detained were between 21 and 57 years old, including the woman, aged 30, who is an employee at the entertainment outlet, he added.
Meanwhile, four "Mat Rempit" (illegal motorcycle racers) were detained during a four hour operation in Cheras which ended at 4am today.
Kuala Lumpur traffic police staff officer DSP Ng Fook Long said during the operation, police also issued 61 summonses and sealed nine motorcycles and a car for various offences.
"In the operation, we also recovered two motorcycles which had been reported stolen at Jalan Ipoh and Dang Wangi," he added.
He said the operation was held at Jalan Mewah, Taman Permaisuri 1, Jalan Yaakob Latif and Bandar Tun Razak.
