PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results will be released on March 16.
“The ministry always ensures that the preparation of the SPM results are done according to the standard operating procedure and that the students’ results are accurate,” Education director-general Tan Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof said in a statement yesterday.
A total of 434,535 students sat for the examinations last year.
Bernama reported that the issue of the damaged optical mark reader and financial constraints to repair it, causing the Examination Syndicate to postpone the announcement of the results, had gone viral on the social media recently.
