WANT to celebrate Halloween and Christmas with local artistes Danny One and Andrew Tan in Hong Kong Disneyland?
The Superstar Tour Guide travel package organised by Roystar Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd offers the chance to tour Hong Kong and visit Disneyland with the two celebrities.
Come Halloween, enjoy the thrills and excitement with Danny One and celebrate Christmas in Disneyland with Tan.
Danny One admitted that he was afraid of ghosts but still wanted to see the Halloween attractions.
“I’ve always missed the chance to visit Disneyland whenever I am in Hong Kong so I’ll treasure this opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to the parade at night where different characters will come out, it’ll be like a carnival.
“You’ll get to see a creepier and darker side to the Disney characters but still with a family theme,” he said, adding that his favourite Disney characters are Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) and Jack Skellinton (from The Night Before Christmas).
While Tan has been to Hong Kong a few times as well, this will be his first time celebrating Christmas in Disneyland.
“I’m looking forward to it. I love the decorations and lights at night that bring out the Christmas feel, and many young people will be out on the streets to celebrate, too,” he said.
The two were at the Matta Fair recently to promote the package.
Visitors were also given the chance to win Disney memorabilia through several games at the fair.
Roystar Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd operations director Cynthia Tan said the two singers were chosen as they were young and famous.
“Danny has a fun and quirky personality that fits the Halloween theme while Tan has a more loving and caring image, suitable for the Christmas theme,” she said.
Sales manager Daniel Chow added: “Danny and Tan will accompany the tourists and we will do the tour guiding tasks.
“They will only accompany the tourists during the tour in Disneyland.”
According to Hong Kong Disneyland sales manager Joey Pang, visitors can expect dark forces with an Alien invasion at Tomorrowland this Halloween.
“The peak season is from July and August. We have limited merchandise for each seasonal event such as Chinese New Year, summer, Halloween and Christmas.
“We have collaborated with many Hong Kong artistes but this is the first time we are collaborating with travel agents and Malaysian artistes,” she said.
The tour package is priced from RM1,398++ for a six-day, five-night Hong Kong trip. The Halloween tour is between Sept 20 and Oct 30 while the Christmas tour is between Nov 15 and Dec 30.
